صدو چهارمين تجمع اعتراضى مدنى شاگردان وخانواده استاد طاهرى در كانادا جهت احقاق حق از دست رفته ايشان

این هفته، صد و چهارمین هفته‌ای است که در این مکان گرد هم می‌آییم. در حالی در اینجا جمع شده‌ایم که وضعیت استاد طاهری حساس‌تر از هر زمان دیگری است زیرا بنا به گفته وکیل آقای طاهری، دادگاهی که دو هفته پیش تشکیل شد - که تشکیل آن نیز هیچ وجاحت قانونی نداشت - آخرین دادگاه استاد طاهری بوده و نتیجه آن، آخرین حکمی است که برایشان صادر می‌شود.

ضمن ابراز انزجار از فیلم جعلی و سراسر دروغین ساخته شده توسط دشمنان معدود و قانون‌گریز آقای طاهری، پخش آن از تلویزیون دولتی و نهایتا استفاده ناجوانمرادنه از همین فیلم در آخرین دادگاه، علیه آقای طاهری، قاطعانه اعلام می‌کنیم:

برای خانواده، شاگردان و حمایت‌کنندگان استاد طاهری، هیچ حکمی جز حکم برائت و آزادی ایشان قابل قبول نخواهد بود.

This is the 104th weekly gathering of the friends of Mohammad Ali Taheri. More than ever before this is a very critical time. Two weeks ago Mr. Taheri stood trial in an unlawful court session in Iran. Based on statements from Mr. Taheri’s lawyer, this was his final court hearing, which means we are now waiting for the final ruling

We cannot emphasize enough our disgust for the abhorrent film of lies that was produced against Mr. Taheri by his enemies and broadcasted widely by Iranian state television. Not only this false and fabricated film was used to stain Mr. Taheri’s character in the public eye, it was also presented in court as evidence. Think about this. The judges, the members of the court, including Mr. Taheri was forced to sit through and watch the lies produced by a fabricated film. Mr. Taheri was then asked to write a defense against the claims made in the film. This cannot be called a real trial. It sounds more like theatre

Hear us loud and clear. The world is watching the injustice that is being carried out towards Mr. Taheri. Make no mistake. The only acceptable sentence to his family, friends, and advocates is his immediate and unconditional release. We will not be silent until Iranian authorities drop all charges against him and release him unconditionally
